17 taxi drivers, 41 gypsies and 10 prostitutes, each with a mobile phone and camera, move around the public and private spaces of their home cities. At the interface between Internet and cellular networks, Zexe.net is an exploration of digital public space, where unconventional media participants gather and exchange experiences and opinions, converting themselves into chroniclers of their own day-to-day reality and elevates their previously non-existent presence in the media. |
